CHEMET SA is the Poland’s largest and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe manufacturers of a wide range of pressure vessels: transportable, stationary and tank car tanks.
The origins of the production date back to 1940s. That is when the company began shipping the first pressure process vessels for the chemical industry. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, first transportable vessels for liquefied gases (e.g. chlorine, ammonia) were put into production, intended mostly for export. After the political changes of 1989/1990 CHEMET, responding to the growing demand of the developing market of liquefied petroleum gas, introduced into serial production stationary aboveground pressure vessels for propane and propane-butane for heating and technological purposes as well as for LPG filling stations.
Currently, the pressure tanks are the main product of the company, placing CHEMET at the leading position among the group of central European manufacturers. The Company's full offer in the production of pressure vessels also includes stationary underground and storage tanks as well as tank car tanks made of carbon and stainless steel grades.
